My 13yr old daughter developed severe eczema 8 mths ago. I took her to Allergist they tested her for external allergies. She has several- trees, grass, dust mites, etc. They did not do a food test. I just recently had her tested for food allergies and she is allergic to milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, corn, pork. This is very concerning to me, why have I not realized this sooner? I nursed her for the first 9 months of her life. I notice she breaks out in hives and gets itchy after eating just about everything. A woman in Barnes & noble suggested I look into her histamine level. Would that be in her blood report, or is it a specific test?
