Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue And Tiredness

Hi, I am a 30 year old female. Lately I have been experiencing some fogginess when I wake up, even after having 7-8 hours sleep. I don t feel fatigued but occasional tiredness. I was told to get a thyroid test but I m still unsure as I haven t displayed any other thyroid symptons. My diet is also quite healthy. Should I take the test?

Hi,

You are right that thyroid problem may produce many symptoms besides foginess. However, it's not necessary to have a full-blown bunch of symptoms.

Thyroid can present in many different ways, tiredness and fatigue may be caused by thyroid disease. So it's important to get the test done, though very often it turn to be normal.

But there is no harm in getting the test done. So I would suggest you should go for the test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
