Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever And Gastritis

I have had a fever since Monday evening; it goes from normal to 100.7. I also have a feeling of bloating and gas in my abdomen. I have trouble with moving my bowels--sometimes loose and sometimes solid but small. My low back aches. I have been diagnosed with diverticulosis in the past. I have controlled diabetes, controlled high blood pressure, GERD, anxiety and controlled cholesterol. I do have a lot of stress in my life. I have an appointment with my family doctor tomorrow, but I would like to know what this sounds like to someone.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you have a history of constipation then it is possible that the bloating may be related to this. Bloating is one of the possible complications of constipation.

The main treatment of constipation is dietary. You would need to increase your fiber and fluid intake.
Increasing fiber intake involves: (1)using at least 5 portions of fruits and vegetables a day
(2)use whole grain products
(3)you may also need a fiber supplement such a metamucil, benefiber
(4)use at least 8 glasses of water daily

I hope this helps
