Suggest Treatment For Severe Fever And Joints And Muscle Aches
76 year old man, sudden onset of chills, fever of several degrees, joint and muscle ache, extreme fatigue, no appetite. No nausea, no diarrhea, no obvious confusion, no rash or itching. Texas resident, and recently (Dec 12,) returned from a trip to Mexico.

Regarding your symptoms and your epidemiology, I think you should talk for further an more detailed history with Infections disease specialist to do a physical examination, full blood count, lab examination to exclude some infections diseases more probably in Mexico like dengue fever, brucellosis or zika virus. You should specify how many time in day and how many days you have fever.
