I have severe Folliculits on my back. It s spread and has gotten worse. Got it 7 months ago. Tried 2 different antibiotics and prescription creams and nothing has helped... What else can I do? I tested negative for fungus and bacteria with my skin biopsy and culture.

Hi,

It seems that you may be having acneiform eruptions or adult acne on back area. The disease might comprise descrete inflammatory papules. The eruptions may subside and recur. Mild itchy sensation may be there. Exact cause is not known. There may be genetic tendency. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis.

Minocycline and isotretinoin in proper doses for long time might relieve the the lesions.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
