Suggest Treatment For Severe Growing Rashes On Thighs And Lump In Breast

I have been on Lopreeza now for 18 days and I have had a severe rash on my thighs. I also have developed a lump in my breast, which I went to my ob/gyn doctor to check out. We are observing it for a month to see what happens. When I went to pick up my hormones at the pharmacy last month, they gave me Lopreeza instead of my regular hormone brand. Should I go back to the pharmacy and see about changing to another hormone? Where do I go from here? The rash is awful. My ob/gyn doctor gave me a cream for it, but the cream is gone and I still have the rash - and it s spreading! Please advise.

Hello,

Severe growing of the rashes on the thighs is indicative of the side effects of Lopreeza. It may also cause swelling and itching. You are suggested to get back to your regular birth control pills that suits you to stay comfortable. You can take antihistamines orally and apply hydrocortisone cream, calamine lotion or soframycin cream for relief.

Since you have a lump in the breast, you are suggested to get clinically examined and get investigations like mammogram and breast ultrasound done. Most of the breast lumps are benign though some may be malignant. Your treating doctor may tell you to do few tests (MRI, PET / CT, scintimammography) for a detailed study. he may tell you to have a biopsy done if need be. Get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
