Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Hi doctor.. I had severe hair loss from last 10 months itself.. I can t able to touch my hair.. Already I visited dermatologist but no use.. Without touching hair I lost 100 to 200 hairs.. So I don t want touch my hair.. I had most thickest hair before now.. I has many bald patches.. Some times when I washed my hair it s around 1000 or 500 to 600 hairs came.. Last 10 months I didn t went any where.. Simply sitting in my room.. Now I was 27 years female I gave birth baby 11 months before.. Definitely hair regrowth is there but my hair loss not controlled.. I guess no one having this type of hair loss in this world.. I don t have any medical disorders.. Now I was live because of my baby only.. Please help me

Hi,

You should get thyroid and sugar levels tested. Also replacement of zinc, selenium, calcium supplements alongside vitamin D3 and C for better hair growth may be helpful. If patches of hair are lost, you should get it examined again by another dermatologist for a second opinion to look for signs of alopecia areata or fungal infection. Topical steroid or minoxidil may be needed in such case. These measures should be sought earlier as if the patches scar to develop scarring alopecia, the hair growth will become difficult in those patches.
