Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having hair fall problems since more than 3 years now, but recently it has increased a lot and it draw my attention that I need to consult some specialist. I have been working out of Gujarat since more than 2 years, I was in Gurgaon till May 2016 and moved to Bangalore after that. When I noticed that my hairs are going thinner day by day, and I am losing a lot of hairs from my frontal sides (recently a lot), I visited a Trichologist in Bangalore at Richfeel clinic. They diagnosed me with androgenic alopecia and suggested their products to prevent hair fall, increasing hair strength and some treatment for gaining new hair. The product and treatment which they suggested are a very much and the even the cost is high.
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Hair growth and hair loss is a constant cycle in humans. These 2 processes always balance each other and not net loss is noticed.Hair loss become visible when this equilibrium is distorted.Possible causes may include : Family history (heredity), Hormonal changes, Medical conditions like diseases/infections and some Medications. Effective treatments for some types of hair loss are available. But some hair loss is permanent.Treatments options for hair loss may include -medications like Minoxidil and Finasteride -surgery -laser therapy -wigs or hairpieces. Your doctor may suggest a combination of these approaches in order to get the best results.I will suggest you see a Dermatologist for evaluation. The treatment of this condition for treatable causes can be very expensive and will entail a great deal of financial sacrifice. Hope this will help you Best regards
