Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache And Ear Pain

Over the last two days I have been experiencing severe headache pain radiating from behind my right ear . There is a spot behind my ear at the skull that when pressed, causes a significant spike in the pain. I get the same spike by pressing in my ear right behind the canal. My ear feels numb as well. The pain level appears to be increasing. Advil provides only slight relief. What could be causing this and what needs to be done to get a firm diagnosis?

Thank you for choosing HCM

There is a possibility that you have an ear infection. The ear infection is acting as a trigger factor for the migraine or for the headache. The best course of action for you will be to take antibiotics or to take ear drops to help you.

All the best and wish you a quick recovery.
Hope this helps you
