Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Severe headache with sensitive eyes may be caused by many different medical conditions.Possible cause may include:
-Primary headache like migraine, tension-type headache....
-Secondary headaches which may be caused by identifiable systemic problems like high BP, infections...
In very severe cases, hospitalization with IV pain medications may help. However, i will advise you:
*try a more potent pain drug like klipal 600 (paracetamol-codeine combination)
*Rest well
*Cold compresses on forehead/face
Then see your Doctor for investigation.Tests that may help identify cause may include: malaria test, typhoid test, full blood count, ESR, brain Scan if symptoms too persistent.
Hope this will help
Wish you a speedy recovery
