Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache With Tinnitus And Double Vision

I have been getting bad headaches for a few weeks now, mainly in my temples and back of my head like someone is hitting me with a hammer and pressure pushing out in my temples, painkillers do get rid of them, they are worse with movement. My doctor said my left ear looked dull and gave me furosemide and it seems to have stopped the headaches, but, I also have pulsation tinnitus in my left ear which seems to only come at night and my vision feels very strange, not double vision, but like I can t focus properly and sometimes black flashes.. I had a CT scan and full bloods which all came back clear. Do you know what else it could be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Headache in temples is probably related to a tension headache.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

If the symptoms continue I suggest consulting a neurologist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
