I rarely get head aches but I ve had a lingering head ache all week (other health is fine). The head ache starts from the top of my spine at the back of my neck and goes through to my eyebrows. I also feel like there is a lot of pressure particularly around the back of my head and temples. I have been feeling faint and my vision gets blurry when the head aches worsen.
Hello dear, I understand your concern.Your headache as described by you starts from the back of your head and goes to the front upto your eyebrows. It is associated with a feeling of heaviness at the back of head. This pattern is very characteristic of a 'Tension type Headache'(TTH).At the extreme severity of it,you may feel like fainting but it actually does not cause any fainting.Medicines like tricyclic antidepressants may help in this. You need to visit a neurologist, so that he takes a detailed history and examine you to establish the diagnosis.I hope this reply helps you.
