Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache

I hit my head on the corner of wall when I swung my head up. It hurt for a little then stopped. Months later I ended up hitting the exact spot of the corner of a couch (wooded part) and now every while I get a pain as if it s a headache only in that spot. Should I be worried?

Hello!
Thank you for your question on HCM!
I understand your concern. I think that this is a normal reaction after a repeated trauma in the same region. It is caused by inflammation of the surrounding tissues in that point of the head. There is nothing to worry about that. It will get better spontaneously.
I would recommend to try to avoid a possible repeated trauma in this region.
If you experience to have progressive persistent headache, nausea or numbness in the limbs I would recommend to go to the emergency room for a brain CT scan to exclude a possible chronic subdural hemorrhage.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings!
Dr. Aida
