Hi, I started having strange headache...last few days, on the right side of my head, it comes and goes without any reason...when i dont feel pain- its no pain at all....but when it comes- its really bad(lasts few seconds) its not a migraine, not sharp, it helps when i press my finger over the skin...
Your symptoms may be related to a tension type headache.
The fact that the pain is modified by pressing on the skin and muscles indicates a muscular implication in the pain origin.
But a temporal arteritis can not be excluded by this symptomatology. Do you have blurring vision or any other symptoms?
I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a careful physical examination for neurological signs and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentantion rate).
You should discuss with your doctor on the above possibilities and the possible treatment based on the test results.
Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes!
