General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Headache can occur due to migraine, tension headache, glaucoma, meningitis. Any history of fever or head injury should be ruled out. Abnormal blood pressure or blood sugar levels should also be ruled out. Vascular abnormalities like aneurysms or hemorrhage can also cause severe headache. MRI scan and angiography may be required to rule out the disease.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
