Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache

Hi, my girlfriend has a terrible headache that completely took over her judgement..she can t stop crying, and she is not a crybaby. This is happening very often, sometimes for days and even weeks. She has been to several GPs, all of which are conducting the same standard tests that do not give any results. Can you please advise what would be the solution? How can we find out what is the cause of this headache? Thanks, Marion.

she should do brain MRI scan to rule out possible diagnoses such as migraine,or epilepsy. Also,some other more serious thing should be considered. However,in most cases this is tension headache which is treated with standard analgesics
