Recently I ve been experiencing headaches that come and go every single day ... I think it may be caused by watching to much television but my more symptoms have be occurring. I m only 13 I m a very good student always have straight A s and an amazing vocabulary but recently when I try to say things they won t come out right... I can say normal common words fine but I m starting to get worried when I try to use larger words and I can t say them right the first time. I also I get these flashes where my vision goes completely gray I acutally go blind for moments and when it happenes I get severe head pains from it they usually last about 30 seconds to 1 and 30 seconds . They dont randomly occur the usually happen when I ve been on my phone or have just woken up. My headaches have been on and off all times of the day and medication (Aleve) is no longer helping numb the pain .. the headaches are very dull and achy and they occur in the front area of my head (temples) and I also experience pressure behind my eyes. I just wanted to add that I ve been experiencing an abnormal amount of hairloss and wasn t sure if that could be in any relation. (Sorry for horrible grammer am currently experiencing a headache and don t wanna spend my time looking at a screen)
* The constellation of symptoms with headache, hair loss, pressure behind eyes, halos around vision may indicate possible alterations in the pressure involving vitreous chamber or else.
* You are requested to consult an expert neurologist for the evaluation of the cause of the headache and guide accordingly.
* Meanwhile, best you can do is to consider taking tablet Acetaminophen 3 times a day with plenty of liquids intake.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thank you.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
