Suggest Treatment For Severe Headaches And Coughing Up Of Greenish Phlegm

Last month, husband had horrible headache, tues a little better, we d good. Thurs more headache but not as severe. Deep rough cough developed and some clear and green flem. This weekend, cough persisting and scalp and skin sensitivity. Today fever. 100 in one ear and 102 in the other.

The cough, headache are likely related. headache can occur along with viral or bacterial infection of respiratory tract.

If the fever has lasted more than 3 to 4 days, then the infection may be bacterial and antibiotics may be needed.

The use of a mucolytic to help to break up the mucus in the chest so that it can be expelled easier may also help as would medication for the fever (acetaminophen, ibuprofen).
