General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern.
Treatment for migraine consists of :
-Pain relievers. Aspirin or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) may help relieve mild migraines.
-Triptans. These medications are often used in treating migraines.
-Anti-nausea medications if you have this symptom
-Opioid medications if other medicines don't help
-Glucocorticoids (prednisone, dexamethasone).
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
