Hi, I have lymes disease and I have falls now that its cooler I have been falling about 2 times a day. I fell 2 times a few days ago on my right hip, I had immediate hip pain scattered like through muscles. Since then my thigh muscle has been sore, and I ve been waking up in the night with the burning pain from my hip to my foot. I already take 1200mg gabepentin at bed time. Any suggestions. ? Any exercises I could do, like I have to for periodic sciatica. Thank you

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like sciatica or tendon or ligament sprain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
