Suggest Treatment For Severe Itchiness And Pain Behind The Ear

Hi sure I do have a question! Behind my ears hurt so bad especially when I turn my neck. And I'm having a lot of vigorous itching of my parotid gland. Should I see a specialist. My ears constantly itch and having thick tan colored mucous or pus from the salivary glands in my cheeks!

The itchiness and pain behind the ear can be because of two reasons, it can be because of bacterial sialadinitis or it can be because of elongated or calcified stylohyoid ligament. So consult a good oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get a radiograph and am ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis. Mean while you can just take an analgesic like ibuprofen or diclofenac(if you are not allergic).
Do saline gargling. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
