Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching On The Fingers

My fingers started to itch, then became really white. With in 5 minutes they were swollen were I could not see my knuckles or creases in my fingers. All fingers. What could it be? Swollen is down now, after taking Benadryl. Had to get my wedding bands cut off

Hello,

It could be a superficial fungal infection. As a first line management you can apply topical antifungals like clotrimazole for symptomatic relief. Antihistamine like cetirizine can also be taken to control itching. If symptoms persist better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
