Suggest Treatment For Severe Itching On Thighs

I have severe itching on my thighs mostly... Sometimes it itches, sometimes it doesn t, but a lot of the time when I wake up I have bruises with red and purple dots covering my thigh in patches. I ve also noticed I ve lost my apetite and few very fatigue all the time

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe itching on thighs which could be due to fungal infection of thighs mainly Tinea, as it localizes on body folds and thigh area. It could be due to allergic reaction or nodular scabies. I would suggest you not to worry about it. You shroud oral tablets of Terbinafine for 1 week. Apply moderately potent topical steroid of tiamcinolone acetonide 0.1% cream twice daily at affected sites.You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Take tablet of cetrizine 10 mg once daily for symptomatic relief from itching.
