Suggest Treatment For Severe Kidney Infection

Yesterday after a week of being in pain, I went to the ER with my symptoms and was told I have a very bad kidney infection. (It caused me body aches, very thirsty, vomitting, migraines and horrible side and back pain) a day later I am now noticing blood clots. What s wrong?

Hi there. You need admission and an ultrasound scan at least to look for the extent of kidney involvement.
Floroquinolone antibiotics like Ofloxacin or 3rd generation Cephalosporins like Ceftriaxone are the recommended antibiotics.
I suggest you see a physician at the earliest.
I also suggest you start with oral antibiotics like Ofloxacin 200mg or Cefixime 200 mg twice a day till you see your doctor in person.
DO NOT DELAY! IT MAY WORSEN VERY RAPIDLY.

Hope this was helpful.
