Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing pain on both of my knees at the moment more above kneecaps, I had done a ton of jumping two nights ago, and I figured the pain would diminish by today, but it s gotten worse. When walking, it s difficult to bend my legs, and my legs try over extending while walking (they kind of wobble). The area is kind of soft, and hurts to touch it. I ve done some reasearch and I m pretty sure it has to do with the quadriceps tendon, I m just not sure how severe the injury is in reality. Is there any way I can treat this at home or should I seek medical attention?
For knee pain you can take calcium supplements along with vitamin D3. Take some multivitamin tablets and do regular physiotherapy exercises as per the expert advice. Do hot fomentation over the affected region for better relief.
