Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain

I fell over in the bath recently and hit my knee against the bath. since doing this i am experiencing excruciating pain in my knee. its like a constant throbbing. i can stand for too long or walk for too long, i also cant sit because i cant find a position which my knee wont hurt. what is it?
