Suggest Treatment For Severe Knee Pain?

my wife age 63 is suffering from acute knee pain. she was earlier diagnosed as rh.arthritic patient, but now it has been discovered that the pain on knee is due to amoebic like germs in intestine. she is undergoing treatment for that with oflox 200 taxim-o 200 now of about 20 sessions of 20 mts duration accupuncture treament with buttons and not needle.
Today she is having terrible pain on knee. what should we do please.
