Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Pain After A Fall

I am a 77 year old woman with diebetes and stage 3 kidney disease. A couple of nights ago I got up to go to the bathroom and I got dizzy and fell straight down on my feet. The next day my legs hurt so bad i couldnt WALK. the second day I could walk with a walker and today I have been able to walk very slowly if I hold on pieces of furniture. My legs hurt really bad when I climb into bed and when I get up off of chairs. Do you think it has anything to do with either of my ailments?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear patient,

Thank You for your question.

You need to do a leg xray, to check if you broked any bones or ligaments.

Is the pain localized or does it envolve the entire leg?

If it is localized than it shud be due to a muscle rupture, bone break, or ligaments rupture.
If the pain envolve the entire leg you need to check specifics sensibility in the office of a neurologists or reumatologists.

You need to make an appointment as soon as possible, meanwhile try to use Tramadol for the pain, twice a day capsules of 50 mg.

Kind Regards,
Dr. Eni MD
