Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Pain

I am suffering from Sciatica. I have leg pain caused by a pinched nerve in the lower back. It is on either side of the lower spine, and the pain run the length of each leg from the buttock down to the foot. I feel it mostly on the left side. I also feel a pinch from time to time in my upper right arm. But, I am not sure if that pain is connected to my sciatica or something else. What other signs should I watch for if it is connected to stroke or heart attack?

Thank you for your question
First that pain is not connected to stroke or heart attack. so you need not worry about that.
YES You are correct sciatica is a nerve entrappment from the backbone.
Treatment has several ways but first it's important to know the cause by doing investigation
1. Good physical exaamination by a doctor to confirm
2. X ray of the vertebrae
3 MRI of spine
4. Rheumatoid factor. to rule out rheumatism
5. calcium level Rule out low calcium levels
Depending on the result and cause then can be treated
Treatment
1. Pain killers brufen. declofenac
2 . Steroids to reduce inflammation for short and controlled time since it can cause other complications.
3.Physiotheraphy
4. chiropractor may also help
Consult orthopaedic surgeon if no imptovement
