Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Pain

Hi, 12 days ago I had a mountain bike accident where I crashed with my bike and somehow the brake lever impaled the back of my leg. It bled a lot and I was amulanced to hospital. The doctor there was unsympathetic and gave me 2 external stitches and tried to send me off. As soon as I put my leg down the leg poured out blood again so she stuck a compression bandage on it and gave me crutches. My GP removed the stitches 2 days ago.



On day 12 should I be able to walk? I tried on one crutch yesterday and felt an aweful ping on the back of my leg and my leg felt worse the rest of the day. Im worried that there should have been internal stitches but I really dont know. I wasnt given any advice and have no idea where to proceed from here.
