Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been diagnosed with arthritis in my lower back into my SI joints about 8 months ago. This past week I have been in the same pain, same spot. It s in my lower back, on my left side. I can hardly walk. It s constant. It s just in one spot, I ve tried everything from taking my medicines, massages, resting, hot & cold compresses. I don t know what else to do or what else it could be.
Arthritis in sacroiliac joint is primarily managed by anti-inflammatory drugs, rest and exercises. Arthritis is an age-related degenerative disorder which progresses with time.
Conservative management with pain killers, rest and exercise can help to reduce the pain and inflammation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
