Suggest Treatment For Severe Migraine

My wife Elizabeth has severe migraines almost daily that cause eye closures and leaves her unable to function in her daily activities. 9 Migraines in the past 10 days. Has tried all of the Triptan drugs to no avail. Currently only taking motrin and hydrocodon but rarely takes the hydrocodon for fear of becoming dependent. My question can these migraine be caused by eye problems?
