Suggest Treatment For Severe Muscle Aches And Flu

My husband received Propofol, in combination with a local nerve block, for carpal tunnel surgery. Folollowing the surgery he experienced general muscle aching for about five days. He described his discomfort as almost flu like muscle aches, and ran a low grade temp. 99.8 at times. The thought occurred that this might be related to the Propofol as he had no other symptoms? Le

Hello,

Described symptoms could be due to viral infection and it may not be due to medicine taken. Neither it is due to the nerve block procedure, but the most likely possibility would be a viral infection. Acetaminophen can be tried for muscular pain. In second though it can be fibromyalgia.
