Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Stomach pain,urge for vomiting or
severe nausea after eating could have many causes which are
acute gastritis or
Helicobacter pylori infection or
food allergy or stress.
You may take symptomatic treatment meanwhile with some dietary restrictions which may help you.
If problem is persistent then you should undergo routine blood investigations and H.pylori, liver function tests, urinalysis and abdominal ultrasound.
Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy can be reserved if all these above tests remains inconclusive to detect the underlying cause if you have not done it earlier.
Also,it is good to hear that you have good digestion system and your weight is also under control or stable.
However, treatment is mainly depend on the cause but you may take symptomatic treatment meanwhile as I said above.
1) Antacids like ranitidine or
proton pump inhibitors (
pantoprazole or
rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.
2) One can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate to reduce the burning sensation.
Apart from medications you should eat plain foods like boiled rice and green leafy vegetables without adding spices or oil.
It will help to neutralize digestive acids and also they are easily digestible means there will be no need of extra stomach acid.
Avoid oily, spicy and fast food as far as you can.
Consult physician or gastroenterologist for detailed medical history and clinical examination to diagnose the cause.
Thanks and Regards,
