Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Adrenal Fatigue

1. One year ago- My insurance will no longer pay for provigil and wanted my Dr/Nurse Pract. to order something similiar. I was ordered Adderall but than the insurance co was upset., because of my age 75, said I should not be taking that medication but did not offer alternatives. My new Dr/Nurse Pract. also does not want me taking Adderall and has suggested a new drug Eveko 10mg. I have had problems in the past with SVT, but is under control now and I have not had any incidence in the past 3 yrs. I am also taking many other pain meds which I will ask next. but I do not know if my ins BC will cover Eveko and what other med would you suggest at my age and with chronic pain and adrenal fatigue and fibromyalgia?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As first-line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
