Bleeding from gums can be due to Infection in the gums. As in smokers the gum disease becomes symptomatic with delay when the Infection progresses.. So gum bleeding can be an outcome of deep gum Infection..
Secondly pain in chest can be due to acid reflux as you already have stomach problems..
So first of all consult an Emergency Room and get evaluated..
If it is related to stomach problems then Endoscopy can be advised..
Further treatment can be proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, antacids, light meals and sleeping with head slightly raised as compared to feet.
For gum bleeding deep Scaling and gum paint massage can help..
To reduce the smoking habit you can go for Nicotine replacement therapy like Nicotine chewing gums, skin patches etc..
Hope this helps .
Regards .
