General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is a tube in the ear called the eustachian tube. This tube has different functions including helping with the pressure in the ear.

With ear infections or sinus infections or the cold, the tube can sometimes stop working as it should and this causes fullness or a blocked feeling in the ear.

Using anti histamine/decongestant combination may help with this. These are over the counter medications.

I hope this helps
