Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Crying In Child Post Vaccination
My kid has been given vaccination today and as a sideeffect she is feeling pain in thigh where injection is given .Doctor suggested for ibugesic every 6 hours if baby cries incessantly .I gave the medicine 7 hours back but now she is not crying in pain .Should I give the dose or wait for her crying due to pain?
Ibugesic is an analgesic and is used sympomatically to treat pain or inflammation. I would suggest you to look at the injection site for any redness or swelling. And if injection site is normal, stop giving ibugesic. And start only if you child cries due to pain. If there is redness or swelling continue ibugesic for 1-2 days as prescribed until the lesion subsides. Hope this helps. Thanks.
