Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain And Tenderness In Left Arm

I have terrible pain in the top of my left arm making it difficult to sleep. It aches all the time and is tender to touch. Putting jumpers etc. On is agony. I have had this problem for a few days and it is getting worse. I take ibuprofen at night to try to ease the pain.

Regarding your symptoms of pain and tenderness at your left arm following usage of ibuprofen I am suggesting that you have developed the following differential diagnosis

Myositis
Tendonitis
Cellulitis
Trauma
Nerve root lesion

In view of this please do the following test
Serum creatine kinase
Blood culture

Meanwhile please see an orthopaedic specialist with the results and for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription

Meanwhile continue with your ibuprofen pending your appointment
