Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Below The Knees

I was moving a piece of furniture when I got a stabbing pain on the right side of my shin below the knee. I put ice on it and took anti-inflammatory pills(4). Could I have fractured something? I can walk and put weight on it but if I turn the wrong way, I have a stabbing pain.

Hi,

Fracture is unlikely if you can walk, and put pressure on it. Though the possibility of a hairline fracture cannot be excluded that even unlikely with the history. I would suggest to watch it carefully for a few days, if it does not settle then you better get it checked.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
