Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Buttocks

Hi, I m a 74 year old female and experience buttock pain (more of an ache really) only when sitting down. The pain is not intense but prolonged and annoying. There is no pain whilst walking or standing up. The reason could well be that am using my computer tablet for prolonged times - placing the tablet on my pulled up knees while reading. Ergo, the sensible solution would be to stop this practice, however, in the meantime are there some ointments that I could apply?

The primary relief will be obtained with local application of heating pad and analgesic spray or ointment containing camphor, linseed oil and diclofenac for best results.
