Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Ears

Hi - I blew my nose this morning and my right ear popped and my throat hurt. I grabbed my ear because it was in terrible pain. I also had mucus stuck in my throat where I felt like i wanted to cough and spit it out, but coughing was too painful on ear. Now my right ear is in less but constant slightly stabbing pain inside and immediately under ear.

Hi..
Welcome to HCM
Blowing your nose hard can increase pressure in the ear..you know the ear is connected to the back of nose through by tube called s Eustachian tube ..and the increased pressure some times can damage your ear drum and cause severe ear pain...I suggest you to avoid blowing ...most of the time the ear drum if at all damaged heals on its own in few weeks...take tablet paracetamol with aceclofinac combination for pain relief...and get an ENT check to rule out any ear drum damage...hope for good...wish you a speedy recovery...
