Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Left Side Of Stomach

Hello.My mother of age 42, had a full medical check up last year.It was found out that there is a cyst in her ovary as well as her ovaries her hanging out because she does not have a uterus.Nowadays, she is having severe pain on her left side, just below the stomach as well as her left leg pains allot. Furthermore, she often gets ill. Due to poor medical treatment in KSA (where we currently live) we did not take the risk of operating her at this moment. My question is that, is my mom facing these problems due to her ovary problem?Your advise will be highly appreciated.

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
If there is no uterus means your Mother has undergone Hysterectomy. The ovaries are kept behind keeping in mind the age of the patient.
It is possible that the pain she is getting may be related to the ovarian problem.
The easiest method is to get an urgent ultrasonography and CT scan if there is a positive finding on ultrasonography.
A good clinical examination along with other tests will help to come to a conclusive diagnosis and give a plan for the proper management. This may be medical or surgical depending upon the diagnosis.
