Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Chest Area

I have sudden onset of pain, sharp pain, in my right upper chest just below my clavicle that radiates up the right side of my neck, into my jaw and ear. Jaw and ear are the most painful though when I take a deep breathe its like a knife stabbing in that upper right chest area.

Hi, i have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Its like that you are having pleuritic chest pain. It is basically caused by inflammation of pleura that is the covering of lung tissue. I suggest you should immediately visit your physician . You should have urgent physical examination and Chest Xray done so to rule out Pneumothorax as it can present in same way. It can be life threatening so its better you should go to hospital as soon as poosible.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate to ask. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
