my father with age 66 has undergone angioplasty for 7 days back. he is suffering from somewhat huge pain in the chest side whenever he is on foot to toilet or small activity. is it a normal phenomenon or is serious?

Some degree of chest pain is normal after angioplasty. This is because of prolonged sleeping and inactivity in the hospital.
This will gradually improve with physiotherapy.
So if pain is unbearable and more with activities, he should definitely be evaluated for heart diseases.
So consult his cardiologist and have a look at stents whether they are properly working or not.
