Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Foot

in the last 12 hours i have developed severe pain in my foot. it is on the top outside of my foot... below the ankle and above the toes... top outside of foot. i can not put pressure on the foot and it really hurts to try and point my toes up towards my head. no swelling or redness and no recall of any blunt trauma. i have had gout in my toe in the past but it usually comes with swelling and of the half dozen flaire ups i have had in the past 10 years, they are all in the same toe. this is nowhere near the toe.
