Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Groin Area

severe pain in right groin, hip, lower stomach..started 3-1/2 years ago, right after hernia surgery on that side. my stomach swells up instantly when this happens. worse pain I have ever had. ice helps a little. had mri, ct,ultrasound and x-ray, dr says no problem..was on antibiotics 3 times in last 3 years for other reasons and the pain was much better each time.otherwise it happens every day...dr says antibiotics have nothing to do with it...3 TIMES! he is worried about law suit..i don,t want money. I want my life back..54 year old male....this has destroyed my life..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
