Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Head

I am a 29 year old female. for the past 3-4 days in a row ive had a sharp sharp pain in the back of my head a little above my neck on the right side. I am getting scared I don t have any history of migranes or anything of that sort and its bad to the point where I sometimes freeze I cant move it feels like muscles are being pulled but otherwise I cant even concentrate on doing things because the pain is so intense. I am good at pain I don t like taking prescription anything not even asprin but I m at a lost.

Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with common causes like a migraine or tension headache, as a first line management you can try analgesics like aceclofenac or tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
