Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having some heel pain when walking on hard surfaces such as concrete, wood floor, and tiles. The pain is located on my left heel, and the pain is more on the inside of my heel, there is a small bump, that is tender when I press on it. No bruising. It only hurts when I walk on hard surfaces though, not much on carpet, and no pain when it is at rest. What could it be? And what can I do to get rid of it.
Rest as much as possible. Apply ice to the heel for 10 to 15 minutes twice a day. Take over-the-counter pain medications. Wear shoes that fit properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
