General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The symptoms are typical of sciatica. The major nerve in your leg is compressed by prolapsed disc. As of now you can take drugs like Gabapentin for pain relief. Absolute bed rest is required for at least one week. If symptoms persists you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
